'Flax' is from my Wild Series, depicting dreamy landscapes and grasslands. It's inspired by my past travels in the wilderness, memories of which have been a great meditative escape during the Covid crisis.

This artwork is based on my landscape photography, which is bonded to wooden panels, with 50 layers of molten, hardened beeswax and raw pigments burned into it with a live flame. The result is ethereal and dreamlike, like something from another world.

Each diptych panel can be framed individually and hung side by side, or it can be hung as it is. Both panels are prepped with picture hardware.
